Hi all,

I am busy helping out a friend migrating from Prestashop 1.6 to 1.7.5.0.

It is a small store starting up in a new format, to see if the profit of the store goes up, with many different product (categories), so we we run into an issue regarding the horizontal top menu that there is not enough space for all the main menu items next to each other. We can do max 3 instead of the 10 main menu items we have now (names are need to be long). Below those main menu items we have about 60 sub menu items.

So we need to go to a vertical menu as in Prestashop 1.6

I have been trying to move the positions of the module "main menu" from "DisplayTop" to "DisplayLeftColumn" but nothing happens.

How can I get the menu in the default template from horizontal menu to vertical menu in the default theme?

Kind regards,

Michel
