El Patron
make a copy of your shop, perform upgrade there first. best advice you will ever get, lol
Daresh
What you need to remember is that your contact form may stop working, cause there were additional security measures added in 1.6.1.18 and it also requires changes in contact-form.tpl file.

Daresh
Yes you can, if you make a backup during the upgrade.

Hi Daresh. Would you be able to point to what changes are required to the contact-form.tpl? I'm running a 1.6.1.9 which I cloned and upgraded to 1.6.1.23. The contact form works fine on 1.6.1.9, but after the upgrade to 1.6.1.23 the contact form stops working - no errors. Customers do not receive any notifications. Any help would be much appriciated 🙂
Daresh
Here you have them: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/1482acec6e91a6e694b9638d42ac69be391dd7fc#diff-eae3981efc859f7a5581c7aef4b68cbd (only apply the changes for the tpl file, as the controller is already updated)

It seems these changes has already been made, also to the contact-form.tpl You wouldn't happen to know of other issues in this regard?
Daresh
If you work on the default template than yes, those changes will come with the update. No other issues should occur.
