How to use third-party API into back-office?

Hi everyone. I'm newbie prestashop and i must create a module for tasks:

- List items ( get data from API - nodejs )
- Create form to add new item ( send form data to API - nodejs )
I created a module but i dont know how to create a call API ( built-in of Prestashop ) from my module( in back-office )

I have same question. Dose Prestashop provide any solution (or a class, controller, function, ...) to call API from third-party or another website?

I need to implement idealo API into Prestashop to show orders data.

For that I think I have to create a custom module in which I think I can hit idealo orders API and fetch data and display it and store in database.

But I am not sure if it's do able. Any one please confirm I am doing it correctly?
