Have U found out the solution?actually the background isn't the problem. webdeveloper Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 I found an answer on the forum, it was related to the same issue, but an older version of prestashop.In file images.inc.php You need to edit a few lines and change 'jpg' to 'png' the script will still generate jpg files on the site, but they will behave as an png files with no background.
