VeeTee
Hi, I'm an absolute newbie to PrestaShop. My website (www.farmyummies.co.za) was on PrestaShop 1.7.4.0 before with no issues until one day when I couldn't log in with a 504 Gateway timeout error. Turns out that disabling the Gamification module fixed this error. I attempted to upgrade to PrestaShop 1.7.4.4 but had issues with 1Click, so my hosting provider wiped everything and installed 1.7.4.4 from scratch. Now, everything's there, except that the product images aren't showing, as follows: I tried to delete one product image on the backend and re-uploading it but it's still not showing. But I do have all the images in the backend, as follows: What can I do to fix this without messing with code, etc? Quite urgent as I have a meeting with the big bosses this afternoon and the site needs to be functional by then ..... 😟 Thank you Edited December 14, 2018 by VeeTee Extra image not required (see edit history)

leozao
Hi El Patron, I tried your solution for Prestashop 1.7.5.1, but didn't work for me. Is there something else that need to be done? My URL is: fototapet.stickero.ro Thank you, Edited March 24, 2019 by leozao (see edit history)
leozao
Hi all, I think the problem is solved for me. It worked after i removed the .htaccess from the root and then activate the "Friendry URL" (or let it activated if is already so) and Save. Tks,

I have selected "Login customers can see the image with NO watermark." Once I disabled the option, I can see all images AFTER login. 1

Rynraf
Maybe someone (like me) needs another solution. None of the above helped me. What happend in my case and maybe in others too? In my fresh PS 1.7.7 installation in backoffice menu: Design > Image Settings I did not have defined "image settings" - thumbnails dimensions (like small_default, medium_default etc.). I don't know why, because I didn't remove it. List of defined photo thumbnails dimensions was empty. I just defined them, like should be by default, and after that (also at this screen, a little below) I regenarte thumbnails. That's all Works! cart_default / 125 px / 125 px small_default / 98 px / 98 px medium_default / 452 px / 452 px home_default / 250 px / 250 px large_default / 800 px / 800 px category_default / 141 px / 180 px stores_default / 170 px / 115 px 1

ScottH
PS ver 1.7.7.8 Had same issue with images not showing on home screen and link to pages that went no where. In the admin portal I went to Configure/Shop Parameters/ Traffic and SEO/ to the Set up URLS and turned off URL rewriting option to 'NO' hit the SAVE button and viewed my shop. All pages and images now work. I did not have to delete any files. Hope that helps.

Amit Kumar Tiwari
Hello Folks, Please follow these steps. If images are showing in the backoffice but not in the front office. i) Disable friendly URL ii) Regenerate thumbnails iii) Check whether images are showing properly or not. iv) If images are showing properly then turn on the friendly URL again If images still not showing then provide CHMOD 777 permission to img directory of Prestashop Hope it will resolve your issue. Thanks
