pre-install question - can suppliers receive emails automatically from each order?

hi everybody, i'm new to prestashop but am pleased to see a simple shopping cart with a growing community. I'm looking to develop a site that allows emails to be sent to the supplier when one of their products is purchased, detailing them of the purchase. Does anyone know if this can be achieved or would it require custom coding? thanks

Can anybody suggest how this can be achieved? ie. the supplier recieves an email once one of their products is sold. I have 5 suppliers and each requires an email per order for their records, stock levels etc. thanks in advance

thanks i have looked at that previously but that will only work with 1 supplier. The problem is that if I have 5 suppliers, how do I assign products to their corresponding suppliers such that when products are sold, the corresponding supplier receives an email? thanks
