Connot add / change Contacts for email

I am trying to add a Title, email address and Description to the Contacts section which can be found here:

Back Office >> Employees >> Contacts

Regardless of what I type in get the following appearing in red:
2 errors

1. the field e-mail is required
2. the field name is required at least in English (English)

What should I do to fix this? I don't have any way for potential customer to contact me via email through my site.
