New Products locked to Product Packs

Hello,

I just setup a new shop and added a handful of products without any trouble.  I've tweaked the layout a little disabling a few modules and now when I attempt to edit the products or add a new one the back is only displaying the product pack window.  Even if I select Virtual Product or Standard product it only displays the Product Pack screen. Any ideas on how to fix this.  This persists with the items I've already created also.  I can't see the images I've uploaded for them, only the Add Products to your Pack window. I've attached a picture for reference. 

I'm using version 1.7.4.4 and the classic theme.

When you click "Add new product" for some reason it always first loads pack screen and later "fixes" the screen to correct one.

My guess that there is some javascript errors in your PrestaShop. If please try to press F12 in Chrome and Firefox and in console window see if there are any red javascript errors.

I ended up deleting the installation and starting from scratch. 

However, I suspect it was a javascript error, since I witnessed that behavior in my new install at times. The new install would flash the "Add products to your pack Screen", but then revert to the normal product screen.
