stolen images

Hello,
a customer just informed me that another webstore has stolen all my product pictures.
Ive just checked it out ...and it is true; because i have some nonperfect scanned pictures in my store.

How can it be possible to steal my pictures without watermark?
Answer can only be that they have access to my folders, or?

What can i do against?

Please help!

I have a couple of questions.

1. Are you saying that you have unique photos that are your property that you watermarked using the PrestaShop Watermark Module?

2. Are you saying that this person took your unique photos by copying them off your site or hacking your folders and those photos no longer have the watermark on them? I know people can Photoshop images, to some degree, to remove watermarks, but that's a lot of work.

Regarding what you might be able to do if this person robbed you, you might want to talk to a lawyer. Sites that make a living selling images run into this often and they send their lawyer after the offender. Sometimes it's a simple as sending a cease and desist letter. Sometimes they sue the offender. Only your lawyer can decide what is best for you.
