Search Box Input Text Padding

Search Box Input Text Padding (I think this is how to describe it, sorry if it doesn't make sense). When you type in the search box, the texts are aligned toward the top, I want to align the text neatly in the middle of the box. How can it be done? I looked everywhere in the global.css and search box..tpl... I can't seem to find where to do it...

Have you been using Firebug?

I don't know if this is what you want...anyway, i'm sure you can fix it by modifying Global.css

Try replacing the line ~463 on global.css:

input, textarea, select {
   border: 1px solid #BDC2C9;
   text-align: center;
}
