Multiple manufacturers for a single product?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to have multiple manufacturers for a single product?

I am configuring PrestaShop to meet the needs of the company. We distribute copies of scientific pamphlets and published articles and many times there is more than one author per article.

Thanks to a fellow forum member, I was able to change the word MANUFACTURER to AUTHOR but now need assistance in trying to assign multiple AUTHORS for a single product.

Is it possible? If so, how?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can do so without change code and database structure.
currently PrestaShop support one manufacturer for each product. In order to support multiple, database table structure must be changed and related some coding.(customization)

The easy way to to list the authors in the short description or long description?
(but this way, you will not able to search by author)

THIS IS SO BAD.

THEY GIVE YOU AFRE E PRODUCT WITH GREAT DESCRIPTION ON ITS POWERFUL FEATURES.

THEN, WHEN YOU HAVE USED IT. THEY WILL TRY TO CHARGE YOU AS MUCH AS THEY CAN, SO THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EVEN WITH A SIMPLE FEATURE, WHICH IS OF COURSE AVAILABLE ON THE OTHER PRODUCT.

THIS IS REALLY WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT OPEN-SOURCE AFTER YOU HAVE USED IT BECAUSE THEY WON'T TELL YOU ABOUT THIS.
