Xtaz411
HiIs there a way that is not a paid module to update the weight or price of multiple products? Is this something that will be available in the official 1.4 release?Thank you
Kelvin Koh
You can create your updates using OpenOffice Calc or MS Excel, convert it into CSV and import the updates. This will update the weight or price of all the products in the file in one go.
Xtaz411
Thank you that is a great idea. I copy/pasted the products from the catalogue into open office, kept the ID & NAME and added the weight, used the uploader and it worked perfectlyThank you !! ScubaLessonsInc
Can you do this with only Product Reference number and price fields updated? I have 12,000 products and need to keep the file as small as possible or it times out due to memory usage. Will it update if you do not use the ID field as your key and instead use the product reference as your key mapped field? Thanks.
ScubaLessonsInc
Ug.. this did not work.. tried with just 3 products and got issues.. must use name as that is key field. so that wont work until I download my current inventory to match the ref number to the name then the price using vlookups.. this is a nightmare maybe just a sql dump.. anyone know the coding for where ref field in product table equals reference field in new table 1 to make price in product table equal new price in new table 1? What would be the sql syntax for that? HELP?? 12K products.. do not want to reupload.
