[How To] Remove Powered by Prestashop form the footer and center it

Thank you guys for trying to help me:) Finally I solved my problem by myself and for those who will encounter the same problem, here is the explanation: you go to your file manager and open the installation you want, after this you go to the "themes" and choose the right theme- there you will find a file called "footer.tpl" and there you can remove some writings or change something or add something.

thanks for the information and your solution, it's necessary to change correct theme file, otherwise you will not see any changes

It's very simple to remove powered by PrestaShop. You can even change the Powered by "Your website/name".

Just follow the Steps. I'm using Prestashop 1.5.4

 

Go to your Back-office and go to modules tab and click on modules.

On the left side search box type "CMS Block" you will see a module names CMS Block will appear in the result tab

or

Just click on the Front office features link in the left side below the search box and find the CMS block module

Now click on Configure.

On the page just see the last option. Just deselect the checkbox if you don't want to show the Powered by PrestaShop.

If you want to show your preferred text just change the above box named as Footer informations: with

"Powered by <a class="_blank" href="http://[your link]">[your text]</a>™" without quotes.

You can give any other text.

That's all job done.

I'm sure this will work for all.
