Pippo3000
alright, got now MB running using v0.8 of their module under ps 1.3.x. what I love is the iframe option, keeping customers on my site when paying (unless you use some fancy thirdparty providers still redirecting a customer for payment). now, what I do NOT love is that e.g. even for credit card payments I have to set a passwort for obviously an MB account although I added my CC information before from my card. is there a way to run MB without having an MB account or requiring the customer to setup such an account during the payment process?phil

Pippo3000
Sorry again I got it from the title now - it is Moneybooker that is correct, mb = moneybookers. any idea how to set this up without customers being forced to create an account with mb? shokinro
All 1.3 or lower versions of PrestaShop will require customer to register before placing an order. Because the Prestashop requires shipping address/billing address to generate order. From 1.4 PrestaShop, there is guest checkout functionality, customer needs to input some basic information, but has an option to NOT create an account. If this is function you are expecting, then you can wait for release of 1.4If you use Paypal, I have a Paypal Express Checkout module that user does not to input any information to place an order. The module will create an account for user automatically by using information from Paypal. If you don't want to create account for user, I can help you disable it very easily. There is a link of my Paypal Express Checkout module at my signature. If you are interested, please take a look (There are also many other features you can benefit). Pippo3000
All 1.3 or lower versions of PrestaShop will require customer to register before placing an order. hi shokinro, there is a misunderstanding. I know that PS requires the customer to sign in. but I am talking about the moneybookers module. when I e.g. select credit card payment I see the normal mask for entering card number, validity and security code. but when I click next then the payment is not processed but instead I see another moneybookers mask requiring me to set a password, obviously for moneybookers. I don't want that. Any idea?
shokinro
Sorry for my misunderstood.I just tried to use the modules and got it installed. But the Moneybooker account needs to be validation, so I am not able to try that out. If you have an test account, you can PM me, maybe I can try it out for you. but I will have leave for now. Radu
sorry shokinro. the problem reported is not one that relates to the prestashop directlyPippo3000 doesn't like moneybookers requires a password if you don't have an account with them. They are forcefully creating MB accounts for every user!If you have an US or GB account you can ask moneybookers to enable the option not to create acccounts for your customers. But the option is not available for every country.
shokinro
thanks Radu for the explanation. I think the only solution is on MB side.
