[Solved] Language pack problems - v. 1.1 final

Hi

If i try to Import a de.gzip language pack at version 1.1 final...

i get this error..

1 error
1. archive cannot be extracted



... CH mode is at 777..

ps.: backend in german ? must i translate it by myself ?

you must extracted the file before import...the extracted file is "de", not "de.gzip".
And before it worked, you must created a new language (German) incl. flag

The problem was... PHP safe mode was on

i switched it on off and everything works now .-)

That is mostly something you hoster has to do.

Hi

To see if your safe mode is on or off...

You must upload this --- in your root

and you can check it with www.yourdomain.de/info.php


At Configuration PHP Core you must find -- safe_mode

or search the document for safe_mode


it must be safe_mode Off !!!!

I have safe mode off, but still have this problem. Any other suggestions?
