moving from subdomian to main domian

[qiladah]

I am trying  to move my prestashop from subdomain to domain 

my subdomain was: test.qiladah.com/test  (test is where the prestashop was installed)

I simply moved whats inside test folder to public_html ….. and did work

then I changed the installation path through Softaculous app installer and nothing work 

I noticed when I moved my files to the main domain it automatically directs me to the subdomain ..  

is there a clear way to do it simply without errors ?
