goldleviathan Posted December 20, 2008 Share Posted December 20, 2008 After using the check out with the SSL (https) feature activated and returning to a non SSL page like the home page (or any other regular http page), it causes IE7 to throw the "This page contains both secure and non secure items. Do you want to display the non secure items?" error message. Google Chrome and Firefox have similar but less obvious warnings. It is because links automatically link to other https:// urls while in this mode. How can this be changed in the php code or htaccess file so that shop customers do not get this error message and get directed to the correct http:// url?
