How to order free products without payment

Hi there,

I am currently developing a private shop for my customers where I'm going to sell some marketing tools. These products are virtual and we can order them neutral (free 0€) or customized (not free).

But, I have some issues. Whenever I try to order some neutral products only, my order is free but I have to choose a payment method to confirm my order... This is not logical.

I wantto be able to order free products without having to choose a payment method, and then order is confirmed and its status is "payment accepted" so my customers can receive their virtual product by email.

I looked up everywhere (modules, overriding payment module, overriding checkout...etc...) and couldn't find a working solution.

How could I do that ?

Does your module allows to see which customer downloaded the file via backoffice administration ?

I faced the same problem and solved it by enabling the "Terms of service" option in "Order Settings":

Administration Area > CONFIGURE > Shop Parameters > Order Settings > General > Terms of service = YES
