How can I collapse the category directory in the catalog info page ??

This is now very annoying.

I do changes to a product and I have to keep scrolling down 4 or 5 screens worth of category directories to get to the description text box and the save button.

I tried to keep the modifications at it's minimum:

open admin/tabs/AdminProducts.php
replace:

'.$this->l('Catalog:').'

width:

later edit: too bad: presta strips part of the code so download the instructions in the attached file.

But is there a way of toggling it via a 'Collapse or Expand' button on the admin page ??

it's exactly what I did - edit the file: admin/tabs/AdminProducts.php as per instructions.php and you'll see after you go to the product page in back office.

you can toggle the category list by clicking the catalog button.

I kept the modifications at a minimum to be easy to install but feel free to add a colapse/expand button or anything else you want; the functionality is there.

That should definitely be a feature of Prestashop. Its saved me lots of time.
