Dave L
Hi,I'm still learning my way around Prestashop and after getting my site pretty much set up I thought I would now look at some different Themes for it.If I understand the way the system works, once a Theme is installed it can just be selected in the BO. However, I notice that some Themes come with certain modules that replace the existing ones.I'm assuming this is because certain elements of the Themes need to be applied to certain modules. My question is, if I want to switch to another Theme again, would I need to replace the previous Themes modules as well? Thanks. Yes, i believe so.Because every themes have its own css style. so if you change theme then the modules must be the same with the theme you`re using, if not i think the theme will ruin (not properly styling). Dave L
Thanks for your reply. So it seems that changing themes is not quite as simple as selecting one in the BO.From my simplistic perspective surely the module folder should be set up like the theme one, having a module folder for each theme. Jon_King
It will be interesting to know how that works out Apprentice. I do think you should backup your entire installation in case it does not do as you hope with the other folders....
