Sale Items are not displaying in the Price-Drop section???

I am having trouble placing items in the price-drop section of my shop.

In previous versions of prestashop, I have just marked the display Sale Icon and text in the backend and it automatically got inserted on the price drop section of the site...

I am currently using Version 1.3.2.3.....

Hi,

Did you actually give them price reductions? If not, I think you have to specify by how much (amount) or a percentage you want the pre-tax retail price to be reduced by... then you check the on_sale box.

I'm having the same problem.

When I mark a product as reduced it doesn't show up in prices-drop.php

It also isn't showing the original price with a line through it in 1.4 but it was in 1.3.

The problem was resolved by actually reducing the price as well... I am using 1.3 and not 1.4, but by selecting the 'On sale' checkbox and also reducing the price will insert the product in the price drop section and place a sale icon as well on the product...

I still cant seem to figure out how to make products appear on prices-drop.php. I've checked the checkbox, used the prices section and even changed the price on the product information, but still cant get it working

Any clues?
