VaReTaS
Hi,I looking for a way that allows me to make a private shop. The idea is that I register myself all customers and, therefore, every user/customer must fulfil a login form before accessing the storefront - even if accessing directly to any page - just like what happens in the Administration Module, which requires a login to access.Does anyone has an idea on how to do this?!?Best Regards,VaReTaS

tomerg3
I am not aware of any free modules for it.You can try to write something yourself, and if you have any specific questions, you can ask them in the development sections.
KGI
We found that Private shop (from the above posting) does the job very well.cost on 30$ and well worth the investment. To see our site www.tradesales.biz and see for your self if that is what you are looking for.It is for our trade customers so they need to login first - keeping all other out - we even get to say yes or no if they can proceed further.Kewl Module and as we said - value for money.regardsIan
dani moya
Hi, I have entered http://www.tradesales.biz, and links to http://keaygroup.co.uk/ppp/authentication.php but if I delete ppp / autentication.php entered directly on the web
KGI
Yes that is correct as you would now go into the domain keaygroup.co.ukthe private shop is located only in the protected domain keaygroup.co.uk/ppp this is where the new trade PS site is hosted and protected by Private shop. Therefore the Private shop is fully working to protect the area keaygroup.co.uk/ppp which is accessed by entering tradesales.bizSo if you wanted to make the whole (hosted domain name) yoursite.com protected with Private Shop - then as long as your Prestashop is hosted in the parent domain of yoursite.com everything (what you choose using Private shop module) within the Prestashop will be protect from being entered unless the customer registeres first. If, like us, you have several Prestashops which are hosted on the single domain (in our case keaygroup) but in sub domains (all with their own data bases of course) then you can choose which part of your main domain / sub domain you want to add the Private Shop Module too. (of course you can only use the Private shop Module in any sub domain if you have a Prestshop installed within that domain/subdomain) If you have other subdomain, for storing other data you can always put a index/home file there which you can point to any Prestashop protected with Private shop or not - its your choice. So to recap - yes you can view our keaygroup.co.uk site - from that front page you can also enter either of two online shops that do not require any protection from Private shop. There is also several other links and information pages to browes plus the Online shop for trade customers, which of course is protected by Private Shop Module. We hope we have explained and hoped that you have understood the above information.Kind regardsIan
