Moved shop to new host, having lots of problems

I moved the shop yesterday.
I'm using latest stable version 1.3.6 on both the old host and on the new host.
When I upgraded the shop everything went ok and nothing serious broke.
But now when I moved it all...

I've done a test order in the shop. When I cancel the products in the order the total of the order doesn't change to 0.
Why is that happening?
The stock number does go back and is correct.

The RSS-feed (not for products) doesn't seem to work either. It worked just fine on my other host.
Do the link I'm using have to be on the same server as the shop for it to work?

I have set the shop to email me when a product stock total passes 1. I get emails when there is 3 (??) left.
Why is that happening?

And a general question:
Is version 1.3.6 a "heavier" version of Prestashop? I feel like the whole shop is very much slower than the previous version I used.

This is apparently a hosting issue.
Got information from the host that they have disabled file_get_contents() and that is used in the blockrss. They won't let me use it for security reasons...
Is there any other RSS module out there that can be used and does not use file_get_contents()?

I have put myself in a costumer group that receives a 10 % discount and when I place an order and then cancel it, then the above happens. It seems like the shop treats the discount as the coustumer already paid it.
I don't have any "real" costumers in groups as I wanted to test the function first but this is not good.

Is it a bug?
Can it be fixed?
