Thank you for answering and fixing the problem with translation... but is it possible that you have made a mistake with your zip. file upload?
After installation the new module 1.7 I have got the sam problem - translation of the word: "Start chatting!" doesn't work and in the module manager is still 1.6 version.
I have compared both versions (1.6 vs 1.7) of this module and they look the same.
