Issues with adding products / Database

Hey all,

As we near the 5,000 product mark on our website; we have begun to experience extra long loading times when adding products (from info through images; images especially).

After speaking with a GoDaddy technician the following things were discovered... GoDaddy rep. ran diagnostics on 2 databases - Returned no errors, Databases max out at 1GB - Were using about 1/3 at ~300MB, Load tests returned almost no load at all.

Therefore, DB Server is adequate and equipment is running well

Does anyone have any insight why this might be happening? Keep in mind the whole site is running extremely well and this change in performance when adding products happened overnight with no changes made to the site in months..

Please advise.
