Add Attributes in BO "Error Message"

Hi,
I tried to add more than 50 attributes in BO but I get this error message:

the field name (English (English)) is too long (64 chars max, html chars including)

Is this limited for adding attributes or there is a way to increase the 64 chars?
Is it possible to add 50 attributes at the same time in BO?
I am using Prestashop 1.4.0.11.
Please advice, I spent hours to fix this problem with no lack. I could not find any information in Google or forum.
I like Prestashop but without any tutorials or documentation, I do not know how I can continue setup my store.
