Dashboard extremely slow

I am getting an extremely long delay on the Dashboard page only.

If I don't increase hosting time-out params to 5 minutes, the page won't load and I get the following error:
upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream

After about 3 minutes the Dashboard does eventually come up.
The ajax loaders (spinning things) keep spinning for another minuter or 2 mins after the page is visible.
There is no additional load on the server while the dashboard is loading.

I have 2 installations of Prestashop version 1.7.2.4 and 1.7.4.3 - they both have this slowdown on the Dashboard page ONLY.
Debug mode doesnt indicate anything.

classes/Tools.php(line 3423 or overwrite if you have modified

protected static $is_addons_up = true;

to

protected static $is_addons_up = false;

also you will need to disable or uninstall Merchant Expertise module.  If you cannot reach your back office modules page then rename modules/gamification to modules/_gamification.

I also had problems with this. on my website www.hdfury.eu and I have searched quite a bit ..
but removing this Gamification. is the solution ..
the site runs smoothly again ..

Thank you I disabled  Merchant Expertise and my prestashop dashboard is running smoothly again. Thank you
