Problem uploading jpeg to my prestashop

Recommended Posts

Hi, I really am new to Prestashop and am encountering all sorts of teething problems, the biggest of which is the trouble I'm having uploading jpeg pictures to the site. The pictures have been scanned onto my PC and when I use the image uploader in prestashop, it just says incorrect image, but I know they are jpeg files of about 50kb each. What different can I try.
Problem 2 is the number of times I get the error "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR" WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?
Problem 3 is on quick access tab at the top of my page in back office. When I click on "my shop" I just get a bleep and nothing else. Any suggestions please?

All sorted. After trying to run Prestashop without success for 4 months, NAMESCO now report that although they have it on their server to download, their server will not run Prestashop. They might have told me that 4 months ago. I'm now trying another e-shop but would really like to run Prestashop again. Can anyone recommend a server that works well with it?

Thanks for reply but I'm trying namesco once more and trying to sort out my image upload problem which I still have. No matter what size image I try to upload I get the same error message "image format not recognised, allowed formats are .gif, .jpg, .png."
I'm only using jpg images and size ranges between 50kb and 1500kb. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate the help to get the images uploaded.
