(SOLVED) Smarty Error - unregconized syntax - blank page.

Hi All,

I have a blank page instead of order confirmation - can someone tell me the error and the correction needed?

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in/home/perfectp/public_html/themes/mytheme/order-confirmation.tpl 200]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'google_conversion_value' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php 590) in /home/perfectp/public_html/tools/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Thanks for the reply - but I dont undertsand what you mean by {literal} smarty tags to be used.

Are you saying that the ' needs to be replaced with { instead?

You post seems to apply to Paypal - where this happens even if it is not a Paypal order. Sorry if I am being dumb, but me adding {assign var='google_conversion_id' value='XXXXXXXX'} to the Paypal module - I dont see how that solves the order-confirmation not understanding the syntax.

Please spent a minute with linked post and tkae a look where {literal} tag is placed...

OK - I see it so now the last few lines looks like this

if (10.00) {literal}[spam-filter]/literal}
google_conversion_value = 10.00;
{literal[spam-filter]{/literal}

}

Is this correct?

It looks fine but I don't have a smarty compiler in my brain... you will need to test it.

Cheers dude - worked - I got a few layout issues - but I will start a seperate thread for those. Changing subject to solved.
