Jen C
Hey guys, quick question here lol I've updated my shop to 1.7.3 and am starting from scratch on everything. I'm formatting a CSV file to upload my products and I have made sure to list EVERYTHING on it, even stuff I haven't yet released.. (I have a ton of fragrances I ordered and would prefer to slowly release them as to keep "new items" constantly being added) Can I add them all to my CSV file and upload now, and forward date the "product creation date" to show a consistent time frame for release of "new products"? Kinda like a do all the work now, and automate for the future.. lol Or would I need to just break down the CSV file into many many many segments and do it that way, each week or so that new items should be added? I don't have an issue listing it all now, but I like to keep the look of fresh by always having something in the new items tab.. Edited to change version from 1.7 to 1.7.3 in case it makes a difference Edited October 17, 2018 by Jen C (see edit history)
RogueWaveLimited
I don't like using the product creation date as I don't think that is what it is intended for. Something you might consider is add the future products in their own invisible product category. Then you can just change the category of each product as you wish to make them "active". Jen C
That's a great idea Will this allow them to have the *new* badge and be in the new section?
