Using Backoffice and Importing .csv

I am new to this. But I was following the instructions for uploading from a .csv file and on the instructions there is a field for prices. However, in the available fields Prices does not show so I cannot choose it from the dropdown menu, but I have a Prices field in my database.
When I try to upload, my file does not work. I think there may be fields mismatch somewhere, but how do I get the right amount of fields I need to be available. Any ideas would be helpful here as I cannot get any further. I have a lot of products in my database and need them to update regularly. Are there any indepth instructions on this anywhere?

Hi janeway,

When you are uploading from csv files, you are given the choice of importing Categories, Products, Combinations, etc.
If you choose Categories, there won't be any Prices fields available. However if you choose Products, there will be a few.
