Simetria
Hi all, Just a quick question about the images that get created while using the import function. I see that the following images get created by default... -111-small_default.jpg -111-home_default.jpg -111-cart_default.jpg -111.jpg -111-medium_default.jpg -111-large_default.jpg Thats six images pre image...if you have 10 images per product thats 60 images that get created for that product. Then if you have 1000 products with ~10 images per product thats 60,000 images created - that is a lot of images in my opinion. I see on the back office where you can change what images get created, but my question is: How do i know which of the above six images Prestashop relies on and won't break the frontend (or show a missing image icon)? Thanks in advance for any and all insights. -S Edited October 12, 2018 by Simetria (see edit history)
shacker
you must check in your front end each image sizes for products, presta uses all of these, but if you have a custo mtheme, baybe not
shacker
also if you delete one, you can create again and regenerate the images
Simetria
Thanks shacker! Do you know of an easy way to determine what images the frontend/theme are using? Also, can you explain a little more on your second comment? If I delete an image that is needed on the frontend, how do I regenerate a new one? Thanks again shacker.
