oakwood
I know this has been raised before, and a bug report was filed in 2017 (!) https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/issues/9982 The problem is that PS does not include Croatia as an EU country, therefore VAT is not applied to sales to that destination. I'm using PS 1.6.1.18 and this bug is still present. Has anyone been able to fix this? I think the PS developers should release some kind of patch for this problem. oakwood
I thought this needs a bump. Anyone got a solution?
Simonas Invertus
I am not sure if I understand the problem. If you go to Localization->Countries and find Croatia in the list. You can see that it is assigned to Europe (non-EU) zone. You can click edit and change the zone. This doesn't solve your issue?
oakwood
Thanks for your reply. Localization->Countries allows you to allocate countries to zones for shipping rules, not tax rules. These are set in Localization->Tax Rules. However, in my installation (1.6.1.18 - only just over 1 year old) the list of EU countries for VAT purposes does not include Croatia. It is not possible to add a tax rule for Croatia with a standard 20% VAT rate, only 5% VAT for some reason. I know this issue has been asked about before but AFAIK no robust solution has been posted. razaro
Think that is not set in stone but true it should be included in a standard installation. You could try to edit or add new tax in Localization > Taxes like Croatia 20% VAT https://nimb.ws/P1pFri. Than in Localization > Tax rule add a new rule within your existing, all EU tax rule https://nimb.ws/NRJQj7 And it should display in a list similar to this (client set 23% here ) https://nimb.ws/y67pMm This should work, clear cache and test.
