ikylim
Hi Everyone,I am getting this error when I try to buy the goods on my own website. I configured it so that my default shipping carrier is a modified one with the only country for which it ships being China. I have the address for when I buy as a legitimate address in Beijing, China but I get the following error: ""There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!"Anybody know what can possibly be wrong? I feel as though I tried everything there is out there. Thank you. Also, does anyone know how to make it so that there is only one flat shipping rate that shows on shipping? Thanks.John
dbennett006
I had this problem when I was setting up my shipping zones for the UK, I cleared the cache on my broweser and cookies and went back to it and it worked... Hopefully this happens for you too.
ikylim
Thanks for your suggestion, but even after I clear cache I still have this problem. Anybody have any suggestions? i am using v1.3.6 and in the control panel have set USPS as default carrier going specifically to China. All settings seem to be correct. ikylim
Also, there doesn't seem to be a shipping calculator for the user. There are only price and weight ranges at which shipping is allowed. Thanks
Aditzos
Unfortunately this very big problem took my hole day and half of he night and i still couldn't manage to solve it.I only have one payment method on my site (cashondelivery), i have only one carrier. I have read all the posts regarding the "There are no carriers available to deliver to this address" but nothing helped me.Of course I've made all the possible setting and setting combinations in Shipping tab and in the Product page. The Country is set correctly, the Zones are set the same correctly, the States - the same. The Carrier setting are done ok, the Price ranges are set ok and the product price is in range. I'm saying the product because i only have one test product on my site as I just installed Prestashop 1.4 yesterday. Everything is done like I read in all the posts that people added until now. What can I do guys?
Nodge
Hi guys. I had this problem also but I think I solved it. You have to make sure that your carrier is listed in both "Price Ranges" and "Weight Ranges" tabs. Not sure if that's exactly what fixed it but I set my carrier to "Inactive" and made the default "My Carrier" active, tried a test purchase and I didn't get the error message and "My Carrier" came up as the carrier option at checkout. I sort of worked back from there comparing "My Carrier" with the new one I had created.
hindjgv
Hi all, I got this issue and break my head for couple of days.. finally figured out!! Please make sure to add the exact store address on your store contact information tab(especially Zipcode on contact informatin should be on your country's zipcode list!). If it is well set, then check is there any field available on your shipping carreir module to enter zipcode or they may have field called Source of package... In "Aupost" Prestashop module, they have this field and i left blank without noticing it. Thus makes the issue at my end and finally figured out by analysing entire code.!!! If anyone has further queries on prestashop issues, please get in touch with me at venki [at] navabrindsol.com. Thanks, Venki. N
djxiong
First, you should define "price range" and "weight rang" for your carrier. second, you should disable "Apply shipping cost" for your carrier, which means your carrier is free. after these two steps, you can select your carrier when you place an order. maybe there are other settings that can enable the non-free carrier, but until now, I don't know how. update: ok, I know how to enable a non-free carrier, as described on the creating carrier page: .Click on the "Shipping" tab. .You need to choose the fees that will be applied for this carrier. At the bottom on the page, in the "Fees" section, select the name of the carrier. .For each zone, enter a price. Click "Save".
