Ajax parse error from 1.3.1.1 to 1.4.0.11

Recommended Posts

HI guys,

I copied my db to local and then I did how it should be to update my shop.
when Upgrading I get the error : Ajax parse error and that's it.

Any idea how to solve this because no more error explanation was found.

also, what I do find strange is when I go to look into the upgrade .sql files I found serveral 1.4.xx files were create table is done even if the table allready exist in 1.3.x? doesn't that has to be : create table if not exist?

hope anybody can explain how to manage the update to work...or
if there is any possibility to install a fresh copy and then transfer my old data..but that I think will not work :-)

thanks for any advice.

@ezakimak.

You tried what I mentioned one post before yours ? Only with english you can update without parse-error. There comes many SQL-errors but you can update. According to developers this bug is already corrected in the version 1.4. RC3 (1.4.13)

Hi , I just downloaded that version from sourceforge and the error still stands, even choosing the English language
Thanks
Hugh
By the way it didn't show up any SQL error in the upgrade process
I am using chrome latest version for windows

Why you don't downloaded from presta ? I don't know if the software at "sourceforge" are the actual one.
I don't have this problem anymor. The bug is already solved.
