Change .less priority over .styl

Hello,  

I am using Prestashop1.7.X and modified the soppingcart view. However, the rules that I have defined in the ps_shoppingcart.less interfer with the cart.styl file.  

How can I change the priority of the ps_shoppingcart.less over the one of the .styl file, so my rules from the less file are used and those of the .styl are ignored?  

I know that the easiest way would be to delete the rules from the cart.styl, but I want to have a solution that will work after an update of prestashop too.

So can someone tell me what the best practice in this case is?

The best option is use the custom.css file inside /themes/yourtheme/assets/css/, this is rewrited at the end.
