Davie Smith
I have an issue with all transactions through PayPal. When a customer places an order, the order page has the following mesage posted at the top: Warning: £0.00 paid instead of £28.90 ! The customer also receives a notification to say that there was a payment error. When I log into PayPal the transaction has completed and the exact amounts have been paid as they should have been.As a result, all orders are marked as Payment Error and the sale value isn't included the the home page stats module. If you can help with this, I would be extremely grateful. I am able to provide any required info to fix this. Thanks in advance.David Smith
Peter Phelan
I had this error at first after downloading PS. It was solved when I updated the PayPal module to 2.1 - which is available in Addons. I think 1.6 was included in the download by default.Peter
raychilm
I ran into this problem while testing PayPal payments with sandbox yesterday. The problem is that PayPal and your hosting server need to be able to "talk" to one another. You are receiving this error because your server has blocked an outgoing connection to PayPal. To FIX:Log in to your hosting server and look for something such as "Outgoing Connections" or "Outgoing IP's" or even "Trusted Ip's". You will need to list for your server what IP's you are allowing connections with. This is a security feature and most servers will have some sort of firewall to protect itself.PayPal lists it's current IP address here: PayPal IP'sOnce I added the relevant IP's to my servers outgoing connections list, my PayPal payments were processed without any errors and the order showed up in my back office with a status of "Payment Accepted".One other thing - In PayPal, under Profile > Selling Preferences > Instant Payment Notification be sure to enable this feature and set the URL to 'http://yourwebsitename/prestashop/modules/paypal/validation.php'. (URL may be slighting different depending on where your modules are located.) This is how PayPal talks to your server and vice versa.
