TSBN
We are in a dilemma. Our current Zencart is getting old and tired.Should we start to develop a Prestashop v1.3x or v1.4x shop, now that 1,4x is in RC mode.Given that Templatemonster current templates will not be upgradeable, or work with v1.4x, we are in a bit of a quandary.Your advice would be? cowboyPhred
I have the same question and same scenario. Here's my 2 1/2 cents worth though- Prestashop is new and cutting edge, however, modulars are expensive for open source, no paypal pro payments. blmod
Old modules (1.3) is not difficult to adapt the new system. So I recommend 1.
shokinro
if your current store does not have fatal issue and critical problem, I suggest to wait for a while.I can not tell exactly when the final release of 1.4 will come out, but I don't think it will be long.At least your current store still works. You don't loose business.

Some times it is better to wait and when you do a move you do it right. It might seem to be a waste of time but in most cases you actually do less work and you do things more solid.
