offie
Hi, when creating my store I automatically chose English GB asmy default language. However now the store is created I have English and English GB in my dropdown lists. I tried to disable English but I then get 404 error messages and also when choosing English GB most words are still spelt the American way, i.e. "Catalog" instead of "Catalogue". Does anyone in the community know how to only have one default language and for words to be spelt the UK way? Removing the dropdown language heading from the homepage would also be useful? Thanks, Michael
musicmaster
My guess would be that the GB version is incomplete. Not all modules have such a translation so they automatically default to the US version. So you would have to go to translations in the backoffice and add those missing,
eleazar
This is correct. I am proof reader since 5 years, and I can assure you that the project British language has never been finished yet for any Prestashop release. With 1.7, it's actually even worse than it was in previous releases - just 3%! The best way to find out if completing makes sense at all is to check the status on the translation platform Crowdin: https://crowdin.com/project/prestashop-official
