dynamicprestashop
Hi people, I read that one of the thing we need to do for security purposes is to rename the administration folder to some difficult name to make it harder for the unauthorize user to find it. So i am using filezilla to access my googlecloud server and try to rename the prestashop administration folder The weird thing happen whenever i renamed and press enter the file return to the original name "administration" and i keep repeat and it goes back to the same name. I am frustrated and this forum is my only hope now.
Andrej Stas
It seems that the account that you are using to connect to your FTP doesn't have sufficient rights to rename the folder. How about this? https://cloud.google.com/storage/docs/renaming-copying-moving-objects I'm pretty sure this is not a problem of Prestashop. Knowband Plugins
Yes, It's the permission issue, not the PS issue. As I can see the folder owner is bitnami & I am sure that you are logged into the FTP with some different user? Check if you have control panel OR something to change the owner of the folder OR check with hosting.
dynamicprestashop
Thanks I have done this after getting the bitnami ppk from the installation and upload the ppk key to filezilla
