CSV product import will not accept symbols in Product NAME

I am having a problem importing product csv files in the native import. I get the file from my supplier and I am having to delete or find and replace the # symbol in the product name of my CSV file. I have 50,000 products I have to go through every week so i can update my products can anyone help fix this so it will accept it in the CSV import tool. I have prestashop 1.7.4.

This same on PS 1.7.5.2; 1.7.6.0 "forbidden characters(?!)":

thought this is because of MySQL Table 9.1 Special Character Escape Sequences but no.
