Changing max_execution_time value has no effect on prestashop. Why ?

Hi,

 

I'm having trouble doing a database backup.

The page loads for 30secs then a blank screen appears.

After setting _PS_MODE_DEV_ to true in defines.inc.php  to have an error message instead of a blank screen, i had the error message saying :

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /homepages/htdocs/clickandbuilds/...../classes/PrestaShopBackup.php on line 296

The thing is i changed php.ini to set the max_execution_time to 60 then 90

When i check phpinfo i can see that the value changes. It shows 90.

But i check prestashop's informations page, it still says the max execution time is 30.

Any idea on how to solve this ?
