Comshop
HelloI changed the permissions of modules and now always appears the message "Internal Server Error" to finish an order.I tried to get the permissions as they were but i dont remember how it should be.Can somebody help me?Thanks
PrestaShopDeveloper
Most probably you've changed them to 777 and this causes the error. Try changing the permissions to 755.
bluemoon
and if it works, try then permissions 705. it "closes" some more gates.
Comshop
I changed all permissions to 755 and everything works wonderfull. Thanks for your help.www.comshop.com.pt
bluemoon
be careful with this, permission 755 is quite unsecure if your site has to be hacked...well, as far as I know (relatively close in fact), the most the gates are closed, the less people enter
web.geek
Bluemoon,Have you tried 705 in your PrestaShop folder without any issues? I know the original installation notes specified 777 for many folders. I've since backed everything down to 755. I would go 705 if I knew it wouldn't break anything. Are there any folders that need more than 705?Thanks
bluemoon
web.geek : I used 705, 604 and 404 on some folders for a friend (my actual shop is even more locked but I have sometimes to play with the permissions). 705 won't give you any issue.
