What should be in my .htaccess and where is my PHP.INI file?

I can't seem to upload more than 1200 products. I think it is due to one of these files set to time out in 60 sec.

I need to adjust something.

This is all that is in my .htaccess file:

And I can't find my php.ini

Have you tried uploading your products in smaller batches? That will shorten the time to upload per batch and avoid time-out.

I have broken them down to 1000 products. I uploaded 2 batches, and still end up with 1200 products.
