web.geek
The scenario: A customer places an order for 3 things and pays the subtotal (USD 24.37) + shipping (USD 11.99) but no tax for a total of USD 36.36 (using PS 1.4.0.8 or higher)* How can I refund just the shipping amount?* How can I refund an arbitrary amount (e.g. USD 15.00) just as a customer service gesture?* How can I do either of these things and have the detail reflected in the customer's order?* Can any of these refunds work automatically with the default PayPal module through which the original payment was made? The PayPal part would be nice, but I don't mind issuing the refund within PayPal if I must. I just want the detail reflected in PrestaShop.
web.geek
I'm not normally a fan of bumping one's own thread, but...bump :-)No one has ever had to issue a partial refund in PrestaShop not specifically tied to a product?
UKclearancecentre
Hi, a solution to this problem (for 1.3.x) would also be useful as i occasionally need to refund customers shipping costs or partial amounts
