offie
Hi, just got a fresh copy of Prestashop V 1.7.3.1. When I go to the modules and services tab I had several modules that needed upgrading (updating) however when trying to dothe upgrade on Custom text blocks I get the error message "Error! Exception thrown by module ps_customtext on upgrade. This file does not seem to be a valid module zip." Does anyone know what this means or how to solve the issue? Thanks, Michael
Knowband Plugins
Hi, In that case, Download the code of the module from the URL below https://github.com/PrestaShop/ps_customtext & Manually upload the same on the module folder.

parcom
Hi, I've run into the same issue. Were you able to resolve the problem? Because I tried the solution as suggested by PrestaShop Addict, but for whatever reason it didn't work for me... Thanks Aron
offie
Hi Aron, no it was not resolved and to be honest I have scrapped my Prestashop site and started again with another provider as I found getting replies on here takes for ages and I dont have the time to just sit and wait. I used to use os commerce and the forum on there was excellent and got replies usually within minutes but wanted a more modern looking site so changed to prestashop but trying someone else now so wish me luck
