Hello,
I know in the back office you can edit the metadata but what i am wondering is how to edit metadata manually? I have looked in the index.php, index.tpl and don't see it? Could someone please let me know what file/s the meatadata is located in I wish to add info with out the back office.
Thank you

I'm using prestashop 1.5.3.1 and there's actually nothing related to the SEO meta tags in the prestashop backoffice "preferences> SEO and URL" section. (such as the meta-title or meta-description).

On the other hand, html SEO meta tags are indeed in the file "header.tpl" in the "themes" folder, I've been lookig for an alternative module so I don't have to edit the header template code but couldn't find a free one that fits my needs to control the header meta data for SEO purposes...
