John-nl
By default Prestahop uses displayNav1 and displayNav2 to display modules in header.tpl. I want to create a new hook displayNav3 so I can assign modules to it using positions in the BO. I have added displayNav3 at the ps_hook table, but this hook is not visible as a new (empty) hook on the positions page. What am I missing? Knowband Plugins
Hi, You also need to define displayHook in the theme/module template files like {hook h='displayNav3'} & just register the hook from your module. I believe after module registration in the hook, It will be displayed in the position section.
John-nl
Hi, Thanks for your answer. I understand the {hook h='displayNav3'} part in .tpl files. But i don't think that i need to register a new module. I don't have one :-) displayNav2 is a hook with 4 modules. I wan't to create displayNav3 with 1 existing module. Any suggestions? Knowband Plugins
Okay. I have searched & tried the same at our end. I have added the displayNav3 in my table & Using the transplant a module option (Under Design -> Position), I am able to transplant the CMS modules (like Social link, Menu etc) in displayNav3. Try "Transplant a module" option. I hope it will help.
