Omega
I have searched the forums and I have had minor success in editing the About us, terms, legal etc etc.How do I get the sentences paragraphed or put within the box supplied that has the bullets?? Ive gone to tools translations etc etc, but it just isnt happening. see here http://www.unibezel.com/conditions.phpI think the next version of PS needs a txt editor that will allow either html or plain txt Some of the boxes where you enter txt seem to have a limit on how many words you can use aswell.Any help welcome
ramblingrose
If you are working with Prestashop 1.1b3 you have to look under Backoffice->Tools->CMS to edit/create this kind of pages. Earlier versions do not have the CMS tool and take a bit more effort to do this (you can do it by going to the Translations in your Backoffice and find the appropriate strings there (as you will give only one line it is hard to edit though you can paste a large text with HTML inside that line). Omega
Thanks for the info.I have entered html into the lines before and the txt just dosnt even show up. PS 1.1b3, is that beta? If so, is it stable to run your shop?
ruilong
open the about-us.tpl file in the themes folder and edit the html there.. if you want two paragraphs then create two divs in that filethen for the text.. just set a {l s='Left text' } and {l s='right text'} in the tpl file, it will show up automaticly in translations (front end part) under tools in admin so you can change the text.hope this is helpful
ramblingrose
Hi,You have to explicitly activate the CMS pages through the Modules->Info Block=>Configure. As for using the b3 version in a live shop I would not recommend it right now as there is still a fairly long list of bug reports. Looking at the development pace it probably won't be long before an official 1.1 will be released.Kind regards,Howard
