How to remove white margin from the product image?

Hi there! I am runnig Prestasop 1.7.3.

Is there any way to remove the white margins that are added to the product picture? I do not have white background pics and the pics look really bad.

I think the white background is added by PS if image thumbnails dimensions are not correctly set according to uploaded images.

Go to Admin -> Preferences  -> Image & Check height width of thumbnails are correctly set according to uploaded image file (Ratio of the height width should be same in this page according to the ratio of the height width of uploaded image).

From the same, you can regenerate the thumbnails after making changes in the sizes.
